Hannah originally grew up in Colorado and obtained a Bachelors in Crop and Soil Science from Colorado State University and a Masters in Crop Science from Washington State University. While at University she gained experience in dry bean breeding, organic vegetable production, and quinoa agronomy and breeding. For the past 8 years in Washington state, she worked in the tree fruit industry at Stemilt Growers, a large grower/packer, working in R&D as the lead field researcher with apples, pears and cherries.
Hannah has a passion for horticulture and new varieties. She enjoys working with growers to find innovative solutions to their questions. She is excited to bring her experience from the United States, learn more and expand into New Zealand Horticulture.
