
Chelsea grew up in the Manawatu region, surrounded by her family’s deep involvement in the dairy sector. This early exposure fostered a strong connection to the industry and shaped her values and aspirations.
From 2019 to 2021, Chelsea studied a Bachelor of Agribusiness majoring in Farm Management, at Massey University. Chelsea’s achievements at university include being named the top Farm Management student and the second top Agricultural student in 2021.
Chelsea thrives in team environments—both professionally and through sport—and is known for her strong work ethic, interpersonal skills, and ability to connect with people. She is passionate about the primary sector, supporting its people and businesses to achieve their goals and aspirations. Her other passion is encouraging young people into the primary sector – she is involved in Girls Who Grow, and has had the opportunity to speak at Parliament, in schools, and at universities.
Chelsea takes a whole farm systems approach to her advisory with a specialist area in dairy farm systems. Chelsea has worked alongside one of the top dairy consultants in the region so is well rounded in her technical capability, knowledge and the relationships she has built. She has a deep understanding of the region, its farmers, farms, climate and regional compliance requirements.
