
Tom joined the AgFirst team in 2025 as an agribusiness consultant, bringing a strong practical background and a passion for supporting farmers with practical, forward-thinking solutions.
Raised on an irrigated mixed sheep and cropping farm in Greendale, Central Canterbury, Tom has always had a deep connection to the land. His academic journey includes a Bachelor of Commerce (Agriculture) and a Master of Management in Agribusiness from Lincoln University.
Tom has built a solid foundation of hands-on experience across a variety of farming systems, including sheep, beef, deer, and cropping enterprises in New Zealand, as well as broadacre cropping operations in Australia and Canada.
He is driven by a passion for agriculture and farm management, and is committed to helping farmers achieve their personal, financial, and production goals through practical and sustainable solutions.
