Geoff brings extensive experience across agribusiness consulting, farming, research and development, strategy, investment management and governance. He has a strong track record working with farmers, industry leaders and government agencies to develop practical, evidence-based solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. His areas of expertise include farm system analysis, nutrient management and farm environment planning.
Before joining AgFirst in 2025, Geoff worked with DairyNZ in research and development, project management and strategy roles, including strategy development and evaluation. He also spent four years as a variable order sharemilker and has held several directorship roles within industry-related organisations.
Geoff has a strong interest in supporting people on farm, education, and helping farmers build profitable and sustainable systems that are tailored to their individual goals and needs. Based in Ngāhinapōuri, Geoff and his family farm 30 hectares as dairy support, although the family is working hard to turn it into equestrian support as well.

• Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Hons) – Massey University
• Advanced Certificate in Sustainable Nutrient Management – Massey University
· Project Management Certification – DairyNZ
• Member – New Zealand Institute of Rural Professionals (NZIRP)
