AgFirst helps to transform the maize & soya value chain in Rwanda

AgFirst’s James Allen has been a key leader in transforming the value chain of maize and soya bean crops in Ethiopia and Rwanda.

Over the last few years, he’s been part of a collaborative effort that has seen farmers become empowered with knowledge and skills. Farmers income has risen by 300%, post harvest losses have plummeted and quality produce has sky rocketed – maize supply to the processing factory has increased from 277 tonnes to 8,000.
