Kate is an experienced agribusiness consultant who is always growing her excellent knowledge-base with her long list of qualifications and achievements. She is NZIPIM accredited and a full member of NZIPIM.
Kate was raised on a 3,500 acre family sheep, beef, and deer farm north-east of Taumarunui. Kates’s husband’s family farm in the Waimarino district and Sam runs a successful fencing contracting and agricultural design & build business. Together they lease 115 acres of intensive flat/finishing dry stock country close to Ohakune which keeps them busy most weekends along with their two young children.
Kate completed a Bachelor of Applied Science majoring in Agriculture at Massey University. Summers were spent at large drystock stations in central North Island – two seasons were at Lochinver Station. Kate enjoys grass roots agriculture which is reflected in her consultancy. She enjoys one to one on-farm management consultancy and has strong foundations in technical and financial advice.
