Upon returning home, Juliet returned to Horizons Regional Council as a Senior Compliance Officer, managing the water take programme, for both rural and industry sites. She was then appointed to the role of Rural Advice Manager, leading a small team in the implementation of nutrient management under the One Plan, where an important aspect of the role was working with key industry bodies such as Hort NZ and Dairy NZ in policy implementation and environmental initiatives.
