Mark Macintosh
Mark is a founding member of AgFirst and has been consulting to pastoral farmers since graduating from Lincoln College with a B Ag Sc degree in 1983.
The initial 3-6 years were spent on the West Coast of the South Island and the Marlborough region working with a mix of dairy, sheep and beef, and deer farmers.
In 1989 Mark settled in Whakatane and since 1995, when AgFirst was created, he has been co-owner of AgFirst Central Ltd which is one of 12 AgFirst offices throughout the country.
Mark is currently a Director on the board of AgFirst New Zealand Ltd, which is designed to assist the regional offices to grow their businesses.
Mark has a varied portfolio of clients with approximately 40% of time is spent on projects, 30% on farm supervision (Maori Trusts), and 30% on one to one consultancy in three different sectors.
Mark has a number of strengths built up over 25 years of experience with a particular interest in group facilitation, farm business analysis, financial planning and pasture management.
