Garth Nielsen-Vold

After graduating Lincoln University in 2006, Garth spent three years travelling and working overseas including USA, UK, Europe and Africa. Working in the USA on a cattle, buffalo and horse ranch, Garth grew a huge interest in western natural horsemanship which he hopes to continue eventually back home in New Zealand. Garth is a very keen sportsman, playing many sports but with a passion for rugby where he played at a senior level.
After growing up in Hawkes Bay, Garth has returned to settle down in the Napier area where he is looking to stay.
Since joining Agfirst Wairoa in April 2010, Garth has found himself getting involved in all areas around farm consultancy/supervision, with a keen interest in project work to benefit the agriculture industry.
Garth’s key areas of consultancy include:
• Farm Supervision
• Farm Management planning and stock policies
• Farm Financial evaluation
• Lucerne production
