Since joining AgFirst in 2002, Craig's 15 years of experience has been put to good use by AgFirst's clients with horticultural, agricultural and pastoral irrigation.
Taking a project from scratch and seeing it though to final commissioning is very challenging and in the end tremendously rewarding to hand over a professional job that the client can be fully confident in. Attention to quality, good engineering design and cost effective turnkey systems, be they large or small, create many repeat, word of mouth and long term clients for the Engineering division.
Irrigation system design and engineering is very diverse and can require creative thinking outside the square. Starting with the water source, there are many areas that Craig assists the grower to plan and achieve the final goal:

- Frost protection using irrigation water
- Summer irrigation based on replacement factor, soil type and customized or specific client requirements
- Water supply systems for rural subdivisions
- Water supply systems for stock - dairy / sheep / beef
- Soil moisture monitoring equipment

- Contractor supervision/liaison/training
- Materials supply: all types of irrigation and drainage pumps, Pvc & poly - full range pressure pipe, fittings, valving, cable, sprinklers, drippers, dripline, water tanks & fittings, concrete troughs, drainage coil, drainage pipe and fittings, culvert pipe.
