AgFirst New Zealand Chairman, James Allen, has been looking for the right time to open an office in the area for some time, and is excited about the opportunities in the region.

“The region has a lot going for it, with sheep and beef, dairy and horticulture all contributing significantly to the local economy. We want to support farmers and the wider industry in the region to be the best they can be in a sustainable way.”

Erica van Reenen joins AgFirst as an Agricultural and Environment Consultant having previously worked with Beef + Lamb New Zealand as their Environment Extension Manager based out of Feilding. With prior experience as a policy analyst with the Ministry for Primary Industry, and a Master’s degree in agricultural science, Erica has the skills and capability to support a wide range of clients. Erica lives on her partner’s sheep and beef farm in the Rangitikei and enjoys getting out on the farm whenever she can.

AgFirst has been in business for 20 years with 14 other offices across the country.
