Project Brief
To provide an accurate identification of ‘high risk’ blocks of fruit in relation to bitter pit/blotch quality issues.
Description of Project
Mitigation of storage disorders in fruit sent to overseas markets is an ongoing issue, particularly ‘bitter pit’. This project looks to find a method to reliably predict the incidence of storage disorders before fruit is sent to market, thus saving significant losses.
