Stephen is Gisborne born and bred and is of Ngati Porou decent.

After gaining a bachelor of Applied Science with a double major in Agriculture and Agribusiness at Massey University Stephen worked as the Farm Technician for 17,000 ha effective sheep and beef farming company, Integrated Foods Limited (formerly Mangatu Blocks).

Stephen is now involved with:

• Feed budgeting
• Financial budgeting
• One on one consultancy work
• Facilitation of several discussion groups
• Supervision of Maori Incorporation farms
• Farmax, Stephen is a registered Farmax consultant.

When not in the office you can find Stephen anywhere from out surfing or diving to playing for Ngatapa Rugby Club or at home on his parents property at Manutuke south of Gisborne.
