Sally has a strong focus in the sheep and beef sector and project management. Having spent a number of years within the industry good sector, extension, support and advice to farmers and agri-business is a core part of her activities.

Whilst there is a strong focus on project and group work, which utilises her organisational and facilitation skills, one-to-one work with farmers is also a fundamental part.

She has a background in environmental issues including wetland and riparian management, soil conservation and water quality, as well as pasture and animal production, sheep genetics and goat management.

Sally is the Upper North Island SIL (Sheep Improvement Ltd) Advisor supporting breeders and commercial farmers. Also a tutor for Farmsafe Awareness and Plans

National Goat Monitoring Project

Sally Lee co-ordinates this three-year project, jointly funded by the Sustainable Farming Fund, Meat & Wool NZ, Mohair NZ and NZ Boer Goat Association, focusing on on the collection of goat management data based on integrated systems nationwide.
