Nicola Waugh


Agriculture Consultant
Nicola Waugh joined the AgFirst Waikato team in March 2008.

Nicola grew up on a dairy farm in the Manawatu.

Nicola attended Massey University and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2006 with a double major in Agriculture and Agribusiness. She then stayed on in 2007 to complete an honours year in Agriculture with her honours project focussing on the effect of shelter on lamb survival. She has also completed the course on Sustainable Nutrient Management in New Zealand Agriculture.

Many summers and holidays have been spent working on dairy, sheep & beef, and deer farms around the country.
