A Registered Farm Management Consultant with more than 20 years of experience in pastoral farming systems. Most of this gained in Northern Hawke Bay and the East Coast.

With a diverse practice his work includes the supervision of several large scale farming businesses as well as working with smaller family owned/managed properties.

He is Trustee for the Tairawhiti Land Development Trust and a member of the National Animal Welfare Advisory Committee.

Hilton is a follower of rugby and keenly supports the Magpies and the Hurricanes. He has been known to do a little shark hunting when the sea allows.

In his spare time he has can be found on his families 700 ha cropping and sheep/beef cropping farm on the East Coast.
