Agricultural Consultant - Sheep and Beef
Bob has been working with farmers in Northland for over 20 years. Starting with MAF in Hawkes Bay back in 1975, Bob has played a role in many initiatives in the sheep and beef industry, including:
  • The highly successful Monitor Farm programme.
  • Building the NZ Beef Improvement Group.
  • Championing the Beef Council during its early days.
Operating as a successful private consultant for more than 15 years in Northland, Bob joined AgFirst in 2005 and now AgFirst Northland has developed into Northland's leading agricultural consultancy and extension service.

AgFirst Northland is heavily involved in Northland’s pastoral farming sector contributing to:

  • Research and development priorities through the Pastoral Development Group,
  • extension activities through the Meat and Wool NZ Monitor Farm programme,
  • sheep and beef farming through both the both the beef and sheep councils,
  • as well as providing a comprehensive agricultural consultancy service.
